Pre-Halloween Very Scary Bugfix and Content patch!


Behold, yet another update!
We've got all sorts of things here, so we'll start right off with the most visible changes:

  • -Added a GOLDEN GOBLIN statue to allow item recycling. Feed it 3 items and it'll spit out a combination of the 3!
  • -Added a proper player voice! Now you'll know why the character is complaining - goodbye 'NO!'
  • -Fixed manashield items blocking every hit instead of a %
  • -Added new visuals to the Burrows and the Skeleton Pit
  • -Changed Player Lighting in order to give a bit more visibility in general
  • -Added some new item visuals
  • -Nerfed Skeletons and Skeleton Archers
  • -Buffed the Attack Speed of Strength-based Two Handed Weapons

And now, the gigantic buglist:

  • -Items no longer drop out of bounds of the level
  • -Item visuals now sync up with the inventory borders as they should
  • -Fixed item position when picking it up with cursor on inventory briefly showing last position
  • -Fixed T-posing when an enemy dies far off-screen due to a long range projectile or spell effect
  • -Fixed Skeleton Pit starter room always facing North West
  • -Changed sound volume to work normally on enemy death sounds when enemies die far away
  • -Fixed mousing-over Lootable Body and turning on Item highlight not showing highlights properly
  • -Fixed Skeleton Pit wall and pillar overlaps occurring on some room combinations 
  • -Fixed the fabled "Walrus' Bug" where a player could re-visit bookshelves and bookstands on the Burrows if he returns from the Skeleton Pit
  • -Changed Spitter's dying animation to be a bit faster in order to hit the ground properly
  • -Changed Skeleton walkcycle to work better with the animation
  • -Changed dropped items always falling in the same position after being picked up
  • -Fixed multi-clicking item on ground when inventory is open, causing it to immediately drop
  • -Fixed Spell icon remaining in the Magic Wheel when a player adds a Item-based Spell to it.
  • -Fixed staircase sometimes showing on Item highlights
  • -Fixed rare case of enemy dying leaving a collider on the ground, preventing movement
  • -Fixed books being able to stack atop each other when dropped to the ground
  • -Prevent three identical rooms spawning back to back in the Skeleton Pit
  • -Fixed bookshelves facing weird directions in Skeleton Pit
  • -Fixed minor door minimap issues with regards to the height of blocked doors on the map
  • -Fixed arrows getting thrown off balance when landing on a player recently hit by a fireball
  • -Fixed inconsistent lighting on some named enemies
  • -Fixed range enemies blobbing together in certain rooms
  • -Fixed Skeleton Archer sometimes moving and shooting when issued a move order immediately on player contact
